Qiskit Fall Fest
Two days of expert lectures, networking and hands-on hackathon for the next generation of quantum developers.
Qiskit Fall Fest
Ten years ago, IBM opened public access to the world's first cloud quantum computer, showcasing the future of quantum computing belongs to everyone. Partnering with IBM Quantum, WIQD is bringing that mission to life across the Netherlands with the Qiskit Fall Fest.
Why Attend?
Gain direct, hands-on experience through real-world challenges using Qiskit. Connect with experts, collaborate with peers and explore your opportunities in quantum computing.
Who Should Join?
Open to Master, PhD, and motivated Bachelor students with quantum technology, physics, and/or computer science backgrounds. Prior exposure to quantum computing/software/information is highly recommended.
Our Mission
To foster an inclusive, nation-wide quantum network driving the scientific progress through collaboration, openness and diversity.
Hackathon Topics
The overview of the theme topics for this year's Qiskit Fall Fest.
Quantum Optimization
Teams are given a specific optimization problem that they can tackle with using the quantum algorithm of their choice.
Error Mitigation
Teams are given a standard algorithm that they need to run on QPU with the error mitigation techniques of their choice.
Quantum Walkers
Teams are required to create a quantum walker and classical walker algorithm on a certain graph and benchmark results.
